Meet the Staff


Audel Avila

Branch Manager

As a mortgage professional, Audel wants to bring peace of mind to his customers by being proactive and keeping his promises before, during, and after the loan process.

Audel’s passions stem from wanting his customers to experience personalized service when obtaining a home mortgage.

Originally a mechanical engineering major from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA., Audel is also a licensed real estate broker. Today, Audel brings over twelve years of experience as a loan officer to Zabe Mortgage Group,

Serving as a branch manager at Zabe Mortgage Group, Audel focuses on sales, marketing, and recruiting; yet, often going beyond, in helping the entire staff to work towards their professional goals within the company.

Audel is a strong believer in giving back to the community through academic scholarship grants and volunteering through his branch (and employees) to community events and projects.

When not snowboarding, running, camping, or reading, Audel can be found dancing salsa with the Prodigy Salsa Dance Team in Fresno, CA.

As an optimist and a dedicated father of two, Audel values the future and what it can hold for his loved ones and is always striving to grow both personally and professionally.
 

Fidel Dorado

Mortgage Professional
As a father and family man, Fidel knows the importance of commitment and loyalty. That same kind of commitment is carried over into his career.

As a mortgage professional, Fidel works extremely hard for his clients and always looks after their best interest. He doesn’t compromise his integrity and always puts people before profits. This attribute has made him one of Madera’s top loan producers.

Fidel’s other interests include; Church events, spending time with family, camping, horseshoes, and he is an avid Oakland Raiders fan. He is also a proud supporter of youth athletics for the Madera Unified School District.

Myra Alvarez

Mortgage professional
As a dedicated wife and mother of three beautiful daughters, Myra’s commitment shows right through in everything she does. From originating loans to playing and coaching soccer (her other passion), she always gives it her all. Her extensive knowledge in the mortgage industry spans over nine years with her main focus being in assisting first time home buyers achieve the American Dream.

Myra is very resourceful and does not give up easily when dealing with obstacles during a mortgage transaction. Her attention to detail, vast experience, and eagerness to help allow her to overcome challenges that other originators may not be able to overcome. She takes pride in putting her client’s interests before hers.

When Myra is not assisting homebuyers, she enjoys going camping, watching movies, and spending time with her family and friends.

Jose Villafan

Mortgage Professional
As a proud father of two boys and a devoted husband, Jose finds his family to be the foundation of who he is. He uses this inspiration to wake up in the morning fully committed and energized to helping families achieve the dream of homeownership. Having been in the mortgage industry for seven years, he has earned the knowledge and experience to be a true asset to his clients.

Born and raised in Madera, Jose is a strong advocate of education and believes that every child’s success is based on their early encouragement to succeed academically. He believes in leading by example and because of this, he decided to return to Fresno State University to finish his business degree. He expects to graduate with bachelors of science in business by the end of 2011.

Jose enjoys coaching kid’s soccer and is part of a traveling soccer team. He also enjoys family road trips, camping, off-roading and anything else that his wife Gracie thinks is too dangerous.

Teresa Ou

Team Avila assistant and Mortgage Professional
Teresa is the most recent addition to Zabe Mortgage Group. She graduated from California State University, Fresno with a bachelor's degree in business, with an emphasis in finance. She obtained her originator license prior to joining us and currently assists Team Avila as well as originating her own loans. Teresa enjoys spending time with family, reading, watching movies, and is fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin.

Omero Dorado

Processor
Omero has been with Zabe Mortgage Group for eight years and has extensive experience with the processing of FHA/VA and many other types of loans. He has an uncanny ability to remember underwriter and investor guidelines, making him a “mortgage-walking dictionary.” He loves technology and enjoys reading about the latest and greatest…especially computers, smart phones, and other electronics. Omero is an avid Raiders football fan, and also enjoys following professional boxing and other full contact sports.

Andrea Jimenez

Funder
Andrea has been with the Zabe Mortgage Group family for over a year. She is currently attending the University of Phoenix and is majoring in human resources. When she is not working she enjoys reading, spending time with family, and shopping.

Cristal Quijada

Receptionist
Cristal has multiple roles at Zabe Mortgage Group. She balances her time between the reception desk and assisting with the mortgage processing by setting up files and the verification process. Cristal has been with Zabe Mortgage Group for approximately one year. When she’s not greeting customers and keeping the front end moving smoothly she can be found at the local junior college where she’s taking classes to prepare herself for a career in business. She enjoys soccer, camping, and reading.
